Services

We recognize the challenges parents face when navigating the educational system, where school staff may lack familiarity with available services, employ generic approaches, or overlook family concerns. It's crucial for parents to play an active and informed role in the decision-making process regarding their child's education, and we are here to support you in becoming empowered and well-informed advocates.

  1. The first step in utilizing our advocacy services typically involves a free consultation. During this session, parents share any relevant documents pertaining to their student (such as current IEP or 504 Plan, report cards, evaluations, etc.). We attentively listen to parental concerns and objectives, offering guidance in developing a strategic plan to address educational needs effectively.

  2. Will you accompany me to school team meetings? Absolutely. Following the development of a strategy, we initiate contact with the school district, arranging a meeting (if not already scheduled) and attending alongside the parent to ensure their concerns are voiced and addressed. We foster collaboration between parents and the school team to craft an appropriate educational plan for the student.

  3. What if I simply require assistance organizing my thoughts? We've got you covered. Sometimes, all parents need is a consultation to grasp the process and feel empowered to advocate confidently for their child.
